"To vote or not to vote."
As a Cuban American, I feel a deep sense of responsibility to emphasize the significance of elections as more than just a political event. Having been born and raised in Cuba, a nation oppressed by dictatorship for sixty years, I understand the true value of democratic processes.
My father, my mentor, was the sole individual who enlightened me about democracy and painted a picture of America as a land of opportunity, where human beings like me can pursue our dreams.
Despite the obstacles we might be facing, this country grants us the liberty to openly and genuinely express our faith and seek divine guidance for the betterment of America and the entire world.
