Personal Journey
Personal Journey
Please take a moment and reflect on your journey. If you, like me, sometimes feel like you don't belong anywhere, then it's time to reflect on your journey.
Writing my memoir and self-publishing "Born Again in America" was more than putting simple words on paper; it reflected self-discovery. Even though the book brings you my journey from Cuba to America in search of the American dream, it's also a reminder to Americans, the younger generation, and a child who wants to be anything they can possibly dream. It's a reminder that we are in the right place at the right time because as long as you believe that there is something more significant than the challenges you might face, as long as you think that everything is possible for those who work hard, take risks, and give their whole heart into everything, then and only then will you conquer your dreams.
And yes, this is still a nation where dreams come true for those like you and me who refuse to believe differently.
My father taught me to think in this place, in my dreams, and unintentionally, to dream big and, above all, to know that there is a God who will never leave me, nor will leave you if you call on His name.
I want you to close your eyes and know that your journey is about to take a turn for the best.
